
João Correia da Silva
João Correia da Silva is Professor of Economics at the University of Porto. He has been the Pro-Rector at the U. Porto (2020-2022) and has been Marie Curie Research Fellow at the Toulouse School of Economics (2015-2017). His research is in the area of Microeconomic Theory, with a focus on the impact of information in markets. João teaches Microeconomics, Industrial Organization, Mathematical Economics, Behavioral Economics and Digital Economics. He has advised ten Ph.D. students; and has published articles in journals as Games and Economic Behavior, Economic Theory, Regional Science and Urban Economics, and Journal of Economics & Management Strategy.
