Joana Pinho
My main research interests relate to industrial organization and competition policy. Currently, I am particularly interested in digital economics and the challenges it raises to competition authorities. My contributions are published in prestigious journals, like the International Journal of Industrial Organization, the Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, and the Journal of Mathematical Economics. I have taken part in multiple national and international funded scientific projects. I work as a consultant for private and public entities on topics related to competition policy, digital markets, and energy markets.

Assistant Professor at CPBS, teaching in the undergraduate and master programs in Management and Economics. Since March 2024, I am an Associate Professor at CPBS.
