Empirical and theoretical IO research focused on the challenges digital markets raise for competition authorities — with active consulting practice in digital and energy markets.

Associate Professor at Católica Porto Business School (CPBS) and Integrated Researcher at CEGE, where she is Principal Investigator of the 'Markets & Policy' research group. Member of the Scientific Council of CPBS.

Main research interests in industrial organisation and competition policy, currently focused on digital economics and the challenges digital markets raise for competition authorities. Published in the International Journal of Industrial Organization, the Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, and the Journal of Mathematical Economics.

Post-doctoral research with FCT grant at the University of Vigo, the University of Porto, and the Toulouse School of Economics (2012–2017). Consulting work for private and public entities on competition policy, digital markets, and energy markets.
